Shipping Policies

At Patination Designs, we strive to provide clear and reliable shipping policies. Here are the important details you need to know:

  1. Processing Time: All items are handmade to order and typically ship within 3 to 5 business days after placing your order. Please note that this timeframe does not include weekends. Some items may take longer to ship, with a transit time of approximately 2 to 6 days.

  2. Combined Shipping: When you purchase multiple items from our shop, you only need to pay for shipping once.

  3. Shipping Address: We use the address provided during checkout. If you wish to have your order shipped to a different address, kindly inform us.

  4. Buyer Responsibility: We cannot be held responsible for errors made by buyers, such as shipping items to an outdated or invalid address on file with PayPal. Please ensure that your preferred address is up-to-date.

  5. Lost or Stolen Items: While we make every effort to accommodate buyers, we cannot assume responsibility for lost or stolen items. However, we will do our best to assist you in such situations.

  6. Shipping Methods: All orders are shipped via USPS First Class, with a transit time of approximately 2 to 5 days. This does not include production time. If you require expedited shipping options, such as Priority or Overnight, please contact us to make arrangements.

  7. Delivery Confirmation: US orders include delivery confirmation (tracking), while international orders do not due to carrier limitations. For alternative shipping options, kindly send us a message.

  8. International Orders and Customs Fees: Patination Designs does not cover customs fees and will not mark orders as gifts. International shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes upon reaching your country, which are the recipient's responsibility. For more information, please contact your local customs office. Please note that international packages can occasionally experience significant delays, although the typical transit time is 7-14 days.

Refunds and Exchanges:

  1. Returns and Exchanges: Exchanges are available for rings and bracelets to correct the fit, but only once. Bracelets and rings are final sale, and no refunds are provided for these items.

  2. Refunds: Patination Designs accepts refunds within 7 days of the buyer receiving their order. Refunds will be issued once all items are returned in unused, original packaging. If returned items are damaged or missing alternative packaging, the buyer may be subject to a 25% restocking fee per item (excluding shipping). The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Prepaid return labels can be provided by Patination Designs, with the cost deducted from the refund.

  3. Returned Items: For items returned to the seller (e.g., wrong address, failure to pick up from the post office), the buyer must purchase a new label for reshipment. These cases are not subject to return/refund/exchange.

  4. Damaged Items: In the event of mail damage, please provide photos documenting the damages and contact us immediately to arrange a remake or exchange.

  5. Shipping Charges: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with exchanges.

Additional Policies and FAQs:

  1. Handmade Variations: As all items are handmade, the product you receive may vary slightly from the item photographed. Please note that any earrings shown on models are sample items.

  2. Lost Earrings: If you lose one earring from a pair, we offer replacement services. Contact us, and we will create a custom link for purchasing a single earring at half the price of the full pair, plus shipping. We are not responsible for the loss of earrings.

  3. Packages Without Notification: We do not accept packages that are returned without prior notification for exchanges.
